My landlord left me 4 lined up screws in the living room wall, and I like to used them differently when I’m inspired. Pictures, light bulbs, party flags, …
Thus this time I decided to try with a roll of wallpaper. I well know that I can’t paste it on the wall but - idea idea - I can hung it!
The strange - because, you know, I’m like Alice in Wonderland, there is always something strange in my life - is that this roll came from Italy but produced in London. A "Wood" Cole & Son old collection that I bought in Padua several years ago for a project in my home never done, and now is here.
So London - Padua - London only for a roll. Welcome home dear roll!
The idea is very easy and you need only 2 wood poster hangers and 1 roll paper.
I cut the roll in two, paying attention on the match of the drawing and then I hanged up the two sheets with the posters hangers.
That’s it. You have finish - hard work, I know.
And it looks amazing. Fixed in the wall near the terrace it seems the continuation of it. I hanged up few plants and a candle and, above all in the evening, when you have dinner at the table, it seems to live in a dreamy place waiting for Little Red Riding Hood.
So, the best part is that I can change my wallpaper whenever I want - and I’m dreaming the Strawberry Thief by Morris for next winter - and I’m sure that I’m respecting the rules and taking care of this house.
I’m very happy about this new idea. Easy, cheap and so funny.
