This new experience of renting is bringing with it a vastness of new ideas. You know, it’s the first time that I live in a rent home and the flat I live in is furnished. But my need to personalise is always around the corner.
And so my mind is a hotbed of new ideas. A nice exercise that comes in handy for my profession. As an interior stylist, specialised in marketing for rent and especially tourism, new ideas have always been the best way to promote myself.
And so I opened the bag of my knobs: a collection that has been enriched over the years. Do not ask me why but when I go to visit a new country I buy them. I bought the first in Formentera well over 10 years ago. Some come from the United States, others come from Hamburg.
In my bedroom I have bedside tables that are a bit commercial, they have nothing particular. The handles are linear, steel-colored, of a different style compared to the furniture line. So I thought to give it a personal touch and add some color.
Here is the result!
Which one do you prefer? The blue one or the one with the writing?
For the moment I will keep the blue one. It’s perfect with the sheets hand embroidered by my mother-in-law in my opinion!
This house is beginning to look like me and I find that there is nothing more beautiful than feeling at home.
...now you know. Or not?
