Recycling a table

Some time ago a client asked me to recover most of the furniture in her apartment that she wanted to rent to tourists. These are always good challenges for me because, if you intend to make a recycling, it must be perfectly designed, so that it does not turn out to be such, but that it appears as a positive feature ready to attract customers. The most interesting object was the old table, which was made up of a board above rickety racks. It was necessary to replace it to give greater comfort to the customer and thus allow the owner to ask for a good price per night. And so, threw the trestles, I had the idea to use the table top to create a board where to attach inspirational phrases, the city plan, the exhibitions in the area or the nearest restaurants. I coloured it in a a more clear shade than the wall so that the view had its clear location and no longer looked like the top of the old table. I printed quotes and made sure that it became the heart of the kitchen.

There was no longer any doubt: the marketing operation was successful, the decommissioned appearance had become elegant and bright, customers immediately began to appreciate this feature that other properties on the market did not have and, clearly, to book.
